Terms & Conditions SOLANDES SAC tourism services
Please read our booking conditions before you proceed to book a trip with us. We suggest and recommend to understand the conditions, the itinerary and style of trip/s you are booking.
SOLANDES SAC accepts bookings subject to the following conditions:
1.Registration and confirmation
1.1 With your travel application you are accepting the contract, terms and conditions. Bookings can be orally, by e-mail, on the application forms of online booking or writing on pre-registration forms. Special requests, applications under one condition and oral side agreements are only valid if are confirmed in writing by the tour operator.
1.2 Through the written confirmation from the tour operator, which requires no special form, the contract is legally valid closed. After the contract you will receive the traveler's written confirmation from SOLANDES SAC.
1.3 If the contents of the travel confirmation / invoice are not the same from the contents of the declaration, stays SOLANDES SAC 10 days to this offer. The contract comes on the basis of this new supply agreement, if you send us within this period, the adoption orally or in writing to explain what just a down payment, a payment or the trip can go on.
1.4 The applicant / traveler is liable for all obligations of all travellers and trip participants from the travel contract as its own obligations, provided that he express that commitment through, separate written statement.
2.Payment
2.1 An appropriate deposit per person (50% of the trip price) for the chosen program is requested at the moment of the booking . This deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation by the client, read point 6. The balance of the program is due 30 days prior to departure. In the case of programs booked within 30 days of departure, the full amount of the program must be paid at the moment of the booking. Payment must be made to Servicios turísticos SOLANDES SAC in Arequipa Peru. The traveller will assume Peruvian bank taxes and transfer costs and all country of origin taxes and bank transfer costs will be accountable to the traveller too.
2.2 If making a deposit from abroad, the bank will charge you a fixed rate for your transaction.
As soon as your bank transaction had been made, we will send you an electronic detailed voucher via e-mail once your booking is confirmed. The e-mailed voucher and the Bank Transfer Voucher will be your guarantee to get all the services booking from our company.
2.3 You can pay the other 50% when you are arriving in Peru. Please ask our team about this possibility.
2.4 You can use our online Payment, please ask how.
3.Insurance
3.1 We strongly recommend the conclusion of a trip-cancellation insurance or the conclusion of a total insurance package together with the booking. A subsequent conclusion is only within 14 days after receipt of the invoice / confirmation possible.
3.2 In addition, we recommend by all trips baggage insurance.
4.Services and Prices
4.1 The services contracted arise from the performance description on the website of SOLANDES SAC and from the information referring to this in the travel confirmation.
4.2 All prices are in US$ Dollars and are subject to change at any time of the year and without notice because of new Government regulations and changes. Prices are based on one person, in a double occupancy room, unless otherwise specified.
4.3 Prices are based on twin room accommodation; single accommodation upon client's specific request and at an additional cost
5.Responsibility
5.1 SOLANDES SAC acts only in the capacity of a service supplier upon the legal conditions that, while exercising every possible precaution, Peru SOLANDES SAC is not responsible for injury, sickness, damage, loss, additional expenses, accidental delay or other irregularities which may be caused either through wilful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of the companies or individuals providing or engaged in transportation or other services related to the accomplishment of the tour, or through natural disasters, social upheavals, strikes, war, weather, acts of nature, airline or bus schedule changes/cancellations, clients get drunk, hotel availability, government regulations. In such cases, SOLANDES SAC will attempt its best efforts in providing reasonable, alternative arrangements. Additional costs may apply. SOLANDES SAC shall be responsible for providing all services and accommodations as specified on our web site.
5.2 Passengers are expected to obey all local, custom and drug laws and regulations. Failure to comply this nonexclusive list may result in the cancellation and termination of services purchased.
5.3 The client is responsible for bringing a valid passport or other document required by the Peruvian government.
5.4 Luggage weight limit is 44 lb (20kg) per person on all local flights and the terrestrial transportation.
6. Cancellations:
6.1 In our experience a minimum percentage of bookings are cancelled by the client before departure due to some unforeseen circumstances. The penalties incurred for cancellation of services will depend on the date of cancellation according to the following list (Important: At any time after confirming the purchase of your Inca Trail permit, in the event of cancellation we will charge the full cost said permit.
A- 45 days or more before the date of the start of services: 20% of the deposit will not be refunded. (except in the case of the Inca Trail and the airlines permit).
B- 44 to 30 days before the date of the start of services: 40% of the deposit will not be refunded.
C- 29 to 16 days before the date of the start of services: 50% of the deposit will not be refunded.
D- 15 to 07 days before the date of the start of services: 80% of the deposit will not be refunded.
E- 06 to 0 days before the date of the start of services: 100% of the deposit will not be refunded.
6.2 A special note regarding cancellations of Inca Trail reservations:
The advance payments for the different treks which include the Inca Trail, such as: Inca Trail 4 days/3 nights; Inca Trail 2 days/1 night; Inca Trail 5 days/4 nights, Salkantay Inca Trail 7 days/6 nights. The costs of these treks are non-returnable, and include entrance tickets to the Inca Trail, porters, cooks and train tickets. This is because these services are reserved and paid for at the time of booking and therefore the deposit required is non-returnable.
6.3 Failure to Arrive (No show): We will retain the full amount paid and will not be responsible for the failure of the client to arrive due to cancelled or delayed flights. Cusco SOLANDES SAC is not responsible for damage to or loss of luggage, accidents, unforeseen expenses, unavoidable delays, services provided by third parties or direct or indirect causes beyond our control. In the unfortunate event of a no show due to unforeseen circumstances, the company will provide a certificate to the client for insurance purposes.
7. Important !7.1 Our company will not be liable for any illness, pregnancy or physical or mental incapacity, which may put in danger the health or integrity of any passenger or third parties during the carrying out of the contracted tour or that may imply any limitation or impediment for our company to provide such tourist services. Thus, our company will NOT recognise any claim or refund due to any such abovementioned concept, including such cases where under normal conditions no such problem would arise.
7.2 Furthermore, we request to be informed regarding any such limitation prior to the contracting of our services, in order to recommend services that will take into account any such existing impediments.
7.3 In case a passenger leaves the tour for any reason, any extra expenses are the passenger's responsibility and the company shall not be liable for any refund.
